VIDA
VIDA is an international design company, based in San Francisco. VIDA is a collaboration between designers and makers around the world that brings original, inspiring apparel and accessories to you. VIDA contacted me to become a VIDA designer, so in collaboration with VIDA I’ve created wearable art based on my artworks.
VIDA is a company committed to creating design in a socially conscious and sustainable way. VIDA provides programs in literacy and numeracy to the makers of the products.

TRAYS
The inspiration for the design of my trays is my artwork. The original artworks of these products are big woodcuts. At the moment you can find trays with two different designs;
Pale Moon depicts a peaceful Finnish landscape in the moonlight where the frost paints the Northern sky. Pale Moon comes with two color versions – pink according to the original artwork and another version in grey.
Black and white The Beginning/End of the Road depicts a Finnish landscape where light and shadow make a beautiful play.

The Beginning/End of the Road: 13x27 cm, 28x36 cm, Ø 35 cm
The tray is made in Finland with Finnish birch ply. The tray has many uses and is covered with an environmentally friendly melamine-based coat. The coat is durable against alcohol and heat resistant. The tray is also dishwasher safe but the coat is very easily cleaned and hand wash is recommended.
