Thank you journalist Mikko Ahvenainen for your visit and a nice conversation about art and nature!
My exhibition will be on display in August at the Nature Centre Ukko in Koli.
Vernissage 2.8.2023 at 17pm. Welcome!
The exhibition includes works dealing with nature issues. I am fascinated by things of multisensory character and in my walks to nature I often gather interesting natural materials because of their fascinating haptic or visual form. The treasures of nature and the experiences gained from them often serve as sketches or memoirs for the resulting works. The exhibition features ceramic art, prints and installations. With my art I want to remind people of the uniqueness of nature. Even if we sometimes mistreat our environment, the nature and the forest always welcome us to their shelter.
Nature Centre Ukko, Ylä-Kolintie 39, 83960 Koli
Open:

I arranged my Konstrundan Open Studios Event at the village house of Kontioniemi 3.-4.9.2022. During the Konstrundan weekend the village house became a gallery space where my art and design was on display and you could also see equipment for making art from my studio. There was also a pop-up art cafe. On Monday I had visitors from Kontioniemi school and Kontioranta day care center.
I had such a lovely weekend meeting people face to face. I was telling about the work of a visual artist and we had many interesting and memorable conversations about art, experiencing, seeing and feeling. About life.
There were over 200 visitors at my happening. Thank you so much for all who came!!
Thank you for supporting and for co-operation:
