I have produced a virtual version of my art exhibition that was showcased at the contemporary art gallery Villa Suruton. Through this virtual exhibition, I wanted to experiment with a new way of presenting my art and to improve the accessibility of art.
The virtual exhibition is open to everyone. Please share the link. There are two separate links below to Finnish version and English version.
Virtual gallery visit creates an innovative, immersive way to experience art, and creates an opportunity for a remote visit e.g. for a school class. You can use the virtual gallery through the link on your own device, laptop or phone, and you can also experience the exhibition with VR headset.

An artist resicency for the village of Koli!
A project for creating an international artist residency in the village of Koli has started by Koli Cultural Society. The aim is to continue the over two decades lasting work of the successful Ryynänen Artist Residency.
I’ve had the honour to be invited to the pilot project as a residency artist!
My residency period will be in the summer 2026. More info later!

Artist Visits in Kontiolahti schools
During this spring I had the honour to visit all the schools in Kontiolahti! The Cultural Services ordered me a tour of Artist Visits for all of the second graders of Kontiolahti municipality as a part of their Cultural Path.
During the visits I told the students about being a visual artist, about my studies and why I became an artist. We would look at the pictures that I have made when I was their age, and we would look at my home page and the work that I do today.
At the end of the visit the students got to modify my postcard with a lonely crow, as they were assigned to cheer up it’s day. And how super cool did they made the cards! In the pictures, for you to admire, there are some cards made by the students from Kulho and Kontioniemi school.
Such a nice tour and lovely students! And what did they ask me?
“How long did it take to make that?”
“How do you have enough patience to make those?”
“Doesn’t your wrist get sore?”

My workshop has been chosen for year 2025!
My workshop has been chosen as one of the cultural contents for the concept of "Kulttuuritupsahdus"! This is arranged by the city of Joensuu, Cultural Services.
So my little portable printmaking studio will go on a little tour in the autumn! More information later!

Welcome to Venejoki Mill, the land of ravens, where stories, art, and local produce intertwine in the midst of autumn darkness. Visual artist Miia Rosenius’ works guide you through experiencing the mill’s surroundings and its stories in a multi-sensory way through art.
The program includes tastings of honey-infused drinks and Mylly’s bread, as well as art in the mill’s setting. Miia will also lead a small workshop, where you’ll have the chance to pick up a brush and interpret what you see and experience.
